Wieso ist eigentlich der TD124 kürzer geworden (das letztjährige Modell war 192 und jetzt ist er 189)? Neues/ausgeprägteres Rocker-Profil das die projizierte Länge verkürzt?

189 is more appealing to most people, and the projected length is closer to 189 than 192.

We used to have the convention of stating the design length (flat ski), but we've moved to stating the projected length (tip to tail straight pull). no change since last year's rocker on the 124.

Ok, thanks! I thought you cleaned up all length numbers last year to be the projected length (all skis became "shorter" by a few cms), seems you forgot the 124 and corrected it this year then...

Die Designänderung bei den Countdwons kommt überraschend, aber jetzt sehen die Ski mal echt gut aus!

Konkrete Frage zum CD 107: Ist das dunkle Weinrot jetzt tatsächlich mit dem hellen Rot (Schrift) kombiniert oder so wie es im Video zu sehen ist mit diesem "Minttürkis"?

danke für die info! meinst du das rot sieht anstelle des türkis besser aus? der meinung bin ich nämlich auch :-) oder meinst du das grundfarben rot (dunkel)

tendiere gerade dazu mir nen cd107 als mögliche “one-ski-quiverâ€� - lösung zuzulegen

Ich find beides stark. Die rot-in-rot Nummer glüht, das türkis auf dem rot knallt halt geil. Hätte den Ski auch schon vor Saisonen gekauft, wenn ich nicht so groß wäre

hab den CD114 oder CD114M im Blick. Sind die 189cm der Ski für 179cm Körperlänge mit 82kg problematisch oder fahrbar bzw. tourbar?

Fahr seit Jahren 193cm
bin 174 steht im Ausweis... doch eigentlich 177 und 76kg
Fahren mussts halt könnnen.
Doch helfen dir längere Ski öfter als dass sie dir im weg stehen... die bügeln einfach alles nochmal leichter nieder

Bin 176 mit 65 kg und habe letztes Jahr den 114ner gefahren, dieses Jahr den 114m und 124 bestellt.

Hab mit der länge außer im ganz dichten Wald nie Probleme gehabt.

hat jemand Erfahrung mit der ATK Bindung, die von Down mit angeboten wird? Ist die Bindung kompatibel mit allen Schuhen? Habe nen älteren Dynafit ZZeus.

We´ve replaced one sheet of light triax fiberglass with ampliTex flax fabric from Bcomp. The flax fabric has given us better dampening without adding extra weight to the construction, and we use it in all skis this year except the TD line where our team preferred last years´ glass/carbon combo for its liveliness.

The YW102 186 sounds really great for a touring ski! Unfortunately, I already bought a CD107 as a touring ski in March (well, actually I'm very happy with the 107 but I would probably have bought the 186 102 if I would have known about it back then...).
