This year, Moment Productions invites you on a trip arround Quebec. What began as an idea between friends ended up being our biggest project to date. Between urban shoots in Montreal, a backcountry trip in the Chic-Chocs on the Gaspé Peninsula and a park shoot at Adstrock Mountain, discover what motivated the Moment Productions crew to make this film. On Top of the Hood is the brainchild of skier Sammy Carlson. Sammy C skied, directed and produced his first motion picture with the help of Nimbus Indpendent and Tom Yaps. Sammy has a unique approach to skiing, and the style he captures on film. On Top of the Hood documents a spring season skiing with Sammy C and friends.

Ein anderer kostenloser Film der mir noch einfällt ist "New Era" von Level 1. Gibts zwar nicht als ganzes aber die einzelnen Segmente sind online und wirklich sehenswert!

Austrian freeski ladies Melissa Presslaber and Sandra Lahnsteiner in winter 2012 travelled to Morocco to explore the freeski possibilities in Northern Africa. When boarding the plane to Marrakech the girls didn't exactly know what to expect on their exotic skiing trip. Leaving hectic and hot Marrakech behind, they find themselves hiking in the beautiful nature of the Toubkal valley. „Shukran Morocco“ is a declaration of love to a country that offered even more than an impressive mountain range and skiing in the Atlas mountains, including hiking the highest peak of northern Africa and heliskiing in the Toubkal region. An overwhelming hospitality and a deep insight of the fascinating culture of Morocco will stay in the girls mind. Shukran. ("Thanks")

Streets of Tampere
It was 1st of December 2012 when this project started...dream about urban skiing movie. Four months of skiing, 62 spots, long days, cold nights, sunny spring days, concussions, broken rib, broken camera, low budget, cool people, angry people, fails, successes, waiting, hard work and frustration. Probably the best 4 months ever of our lifetime is now called "Streets Of Tampere".

Oscar has been around the ski industry since the age of 17 and been competing in some of the biggest comps in the game, like Dew Tour, JOSS & King of Style.
This year he wanted to try something new and make he's own short film.

The reason why i wanted to make this project was to showcase my skiing from the view i look at it and of course push my skiing to new levels.
This project was filmed during the 12/13 season.

ARMADA presents "WRECKALLECTIONS", the Mike Hornbeck mini movie.
Mike Hornbeck spent his entire 2012/13 season filming his own short movie with the intent to release online for free by season's end. Follow him as he travels to British Columbia, Japan, Korea, Sweden, and California. At the end of the season Hornbeck finds himself back in his hometown in Michigan, where he reflectss on all the places he skied and people he met along the way.
