Kein Skifahren in dem Trailer, aber trotzdem eine interessante Ankündigung. Super Proof soll eine Art Produktions Laben sein, unter dem verschiedene Parts und Kurzfilme veröffentlicht werden. Kopf der Bande ist Sean Pettit und mit dabei sind noch sein Bruder Callum Pettit und Leigh Powis. Das ganze geht nicht in die Richtung echte Stories, sondern eher "Hollywood like" mit Skript. Bin gespannt was da so kommt die Saison. Pettit wird die Saison mit niemand anders filmen.

When I think about the last 7 months there come a lot of pictures to my mind, mostly good but also some bad ones. The season 2013/14 was affected by little snow and there was literally no snow in the cities and valleys all winter long. Two members of our crew had a torn ACL right at the beginning of the new year and weren't able to ski the rest of the winter, which wasn't only a lost for themselves, but for the whole crew as well. Beside that, I can say I had the greatest season ever with the most fun times I can think of. Despite the lack of snow we were able to get some urban and also some backcountry shots and, of course, filmed a lot in several terrain parks all across Tyrol. "Devotion" should give you a slight view in the life of a group of young progressive skiers and show the fun we have eveyday when we are out there. Skiing isn't just a sport for us, it's our way of living, our DEVOTION.

If you ever skied seriously, odds are you probably heard about Whistler. You might of heard fragments of stories here and there... from a friend of a friend... You might even be considering perhaps making a move out WEST? Where do you start? Is it all worth it?
The amount of wealth circulating within the village is exhilarating. Massive LOG CABINS, famous hotels... all pretty much lying there to accommodate people with priorities way beyond skiing. A mountain town truly led by tourist's needs.
...But what about us? The forgotten ones? The ones willing to thumb it cross country only to get here? The ones living in cars, SHEDS and tents? The ones who rely on the money they get from empties to pay rent?
Have they forgotten about us?
It's the apparent difference between classes that unites us as a strong community coming together and helping each other out. After all, the first priority is surviving, making it. Skiing is next.
Once you see above the incredible RESORT that Whistler is, you realize that it is also home to thousands of people just like you and me forming an underground culture that is a pleasure to discover.

Warren Miller's 2014 film, No Turning Back, pays homage to 65 years of mountain culture and adventure filmmaking. We're taking a legacy that DATES back to before skis had edges and we're running with it to every end of the winter world—from the top of the steepest, snowiest peaks and back again to the Mom and Pop hills that define skiing and riding. Since 1949, Warren Miller has known that as skiers and riders there’s no need to look back. We have to continuously drive to keep our edge and chase snow, and this year, we prove that not much has changed. Benchetler, Pep Fujas und Hoji alle vereint in einem Kurzfilm der komplett im Dunkeln gedreht wurde und bei der IF3 einige Preise abgeräumt hat.
Der Trailer sieht richtig gut aus auch wenn es letztendlich ein Werbefilm für den Philips Ambilight TV ist. Ich freu mich aber schon das Video in voller Länge zu sehen.

A ski film based in Nelson, BC Canada that asks the question: what is STYLE? Style is essentially self expression...but what does that mean and why is it significant?
The subject of STYLE is used to highlight and commend people that show a deeper understanding of the activity they are engaged in. It is also used to exclude and put people down. These occurrences aren't necessarily right or wrong, they just happen and can have a huge impact on individuals.
Everyone should take a second and consider that your STYLE is whatever the f*** you want it to be. It's yours. No matter what anyone tells you, you have it. It's inherent to your existence. People might think it's weird, but that's good. If it wasn't, then you'd just be part of the crowd.

Delivered through the unique personal perspective of former professional ski guide Eric Henderson, the film is centered on a human powered ski adventure in Alaska with a diverse team of ski athletes on iconic peaks in the heart of the Chugach Mountains. From The Road offers a unique view into the sport of backcountry skiing, and both its human limitations and liberations, ultimately revealing why this particular group of skiers have joined – to give Henderson another try at Meteorite Peak, a foreboding peak normally reserved for helicopter skiing, where he broke his neck in 2009 causing his professional guiding career to come to a screeching halt.

This fall, after five years, twelve webisodes and over one million views the last ski film project under the name Nipwitz is set to release. The two-year project, entitled Brain MASSAGE, will premiere at HELSINKI Bio Rex Theatre on the 1st of November 2014 followed by national premiere tour and an online release later this season.
As the first and the last movie by the groundbreaking Finnish ski crew, Brain Massage showcases a new twist to the good old Nipwitz-approach making it genuinely one of the most unique projects in the modern freeskiing era. Shot in the cities of Scandinavia, The Baltic, Russia and beyond, Brain Massage offers a package that, once again, certainly isn’t your average ski movie.
Directed by Aarni Toiviainen the movie features skiing by Oskari Raitanen, Tommi Kostilainen, Matti Räty, Riku Laakso, Jussi Mononen, Kalle Leinonen and friends. The new trailer of the movie is to be released on 6th of October on the newborn website nipwitz.com along with pre-order of a special Collector Box containing Brain Massage movie, extra material on DVD & Blu-ray disc. In addition, the Collector Box includes a Sauna-collaboration beanie and the exclusive Nipwitz The Book, a visual piece of art offering photos by Ville-Petteri Määttä and behind the scenes insights into the two-year journey.
