Volkl Chopstick lenght

Servus,
I'm thinking about to buy the Chopsticks and I don't really know which lenght. I'm 178cm tall and ride most of all BC (70% between trees and 30% big mountain). So, any suggestions?
The chopstick comes in 175 and 185.

The Chopstick got a fat rocker, so they will ski really short....

additionally an absolutely symmetrical sidecut ,so if you think about skiing newschool(180,360) get the short one.-If you want to hit the backcountry as a freestyler.
I mean, they got 128 mmm underfoot- enough floatation for a surfyfeel.

But there is one point missing: Are you a fat boy?
If it is right and you also like to ride the pow fast, get the longer one.

I have 72kg. So I think I'm not a heavy weight.

hey gana,

I think the perfect lenght depends on your riding skills!
If you like to go fast and take big cliffs on big mountain skiing I'd rather take the 185cm one. Because the Rocker of the Chop isn't that big and the tips and tails are really flat! I (182cm and about 80kg) had one in 185cm and it was a little bit to short for me.
If you want to ski much in narrow tree lines, and planning to do some easy skiing on the big mountains maybe the shorter one fits you better!

If you're not doing much newschool freeriding (mainly spins and combined flips with spins) I would recommend an other kind of ski! e.g the gotama in 178cm!

Ok, thanks for the answers. Bought the 185cm 08/09. I hope they will make me happy :D
